COURSE CONTENT

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely. It includes:

Planning and preparing for forklift work
Operating the forklift
Shifting loads in a safe manner
Shutting down and securing the machine
Conducting housekeeping activities associated with machine operations.

COURSE Duration

3 days plus on the job logbook as required
