COURSE CONTENT

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely. It includes:

  • Planning and preparing for forklift work
  • Operating the forklift
  • Shifting loads in a safe manner
  • Shutting down and securing the machine
  • Conducting housekeeping activities associated with machine operations.

COURSE Duration

3 days plus on the job logbook as required.

COURSE Outcome

Upon successful completion, students will receive a Statement of Attainment (TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck)
